lamhé
decor & the small, slow art of remembering.
Lamhe — Urdu for moments — is a small studio dressing weddings, mehndi nights, and the quiet evenings in between. We work in marigold and muslin, brass and breath; one event at a time, by hand, by appointment, in the Greater Toronto Area.
The Craft.
how we make it, why it takes a little longer.
Fresh garlands, dried stems,
and a deep love of marigold.
We work primarily in fresh florals — roses, jasmine, marigold — and lean on dried palms and pampas when a longer arrangement is called for. Every garland is strung by hand the morning of.

Drapes, mandaps,
and the quiet structural things.
Soft architecture is half the work. We build mandaps, hang muslin ceilings, and dress chairs and aisles in fabrics chosen for the room's light, not the trend.

The Occasions.
we love to dress, and what each asks of us.
Every occasion has its own grammar — a colour, a fabric, a flower.
Wedding.
Ceremony & reception, dressed together. Mandap, florals, table styling, signage — the full editorial.
Mehndi.
Low seating, marigold ceilings, lantern light. Built to be photographed and lived in.
Engagement.
A measured, romantic spread. Two or three focal moments, never more.
Sangeet.
Stage backing, drape, and the kind of florals that hold up under stage lights.
Baby Shower.
Pastel-led with one warm anchor — terracotta, sand, or a deep wine.
Aqiqah.
Quiet, white-and-gold. A small ceremony, framed gently.
Anniversary.
A single table, a single year. Dressed in the colour of that one.
Other.
House-warmings, milestones, the unnamed evenings. Write to us; we'll listen first.
